This promotional video was created for the grad show at University of the Fraser Valley, the Graphic and Digital Design program. The goal was to represent creative students from UFV, living in BC and using its nature as a key piece for design.

This whole piece was created throughout the entire last semester at UFV, lead by the creative director, Mila Mukhortova, filmed by Peter McMann and edited by Sultan Jumataev. In the begining, before we all knew each student's responsibilities, I had a big drive and passion for film and animation. After few days of brainstorming with the creative director, we came up with an idea to bring Photoshop to real life. The challenge was to highlight key pieces and tools of the program and feature it in the nature. To do that, we cut out "Magic Wand", "Fill", "Cmnd+Z keys" and "Text" tools from cardboards, went to the Cascade Falls and shot 5 different takes. The editing process was the hardest because I just started learning both Premiere Pro and After Effects. After few weeks of tutorials, I was able to finish the first draft, without any sound and music, it felt boring. I went outside, holding my phone while watching the movie and holding down the microphone, I recorded sounds of walking on the branches, wind and birds. The humming happy sound was added later.

The video was presented as a promotional piece at the grad show of 2016.
This piece was featured at Applied Arts Magazine and won an award of the best Digital Visual Effects.
The video was also edited under 1 minute format to fit in Instagram.
